LOCATION & WEATHER
The city has a sub-tropical climate wherein there are prolonged summers and not so harsh winters. It must be well understood that the students from Asian countries feel no accommodation issues while studying and living in Guangxi city.
HOW TO REACH GUANGXI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
2 Shuangyong Rd, Qingxiu District, Nanning, Guangxi, China, is the address of the University. It can be reached by a bus whose fare is comparatively low and affordable. There is also an airport nearby the University. If it’s viable for the students they can reach the place by air. The city is quite beautiful.
FOOD
The food is taken special care of due to the international students studying in the University.
It must be appreciated that there are separate canteen for the international students that only serve veg. and non-veg. as per the choices of students.
The international students are considerably higher in number and hence there is a dire need to provide them with better food.
Chinese Veg. cuisines are also made available to them for their comfort.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN GUANGXI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Until 2007, the medium of instruction was primarily the local language. But in the present day, it has changed to English which is a better thing for all the international students.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students must have more than 60% marks in 12th standard.
- The student must have NEET qualification with above 55% in PCB in 10+2, otherwise, he\she won’t be eligible to apply for it.
- In the case of Humanities and other subjects like Law, Engineering, etc, there are various entrance tests conducted online, and qualifying them is the only way to help get enrolled.
- The age of a student or applicant must be more than 17 years and less than 25 years.
- A student must have chemistry, physics, and Biology as the main subject in 12th standard.
DEGREE
The Guangxi University offers a very well furnished under-graduate course in Medicine, the MBBS which is of a great value in other countries as well. There is then an MD degree which is more research-oriented and then PhD. The University’s contribution in passing out great scholars must be considered whenever the Degree is in talks.
